GRILLED ASPARAGUSAsparagus is my favorite veggie and grilling is the best way to cook it, or any vegitable for that matter.
Break off the tough ends of the asparagus and drop the asparagus into a zip lock bag. Mix marinade and drizzle over asparagus. Shake to coat evenly. Let marinate for about an hour. Place spears on hot gill in a single layer. Roll them ever minute or so being careful not to let to many fall between the grates. When done they will have nice dark grill marks and still have some crispness. Serve right off the grill.
You can get fancy and use tooth picks or little scewers to stick the asparagus together forming little rafts if you want. (If you do be sure to soak the wood first). Fewer of them will slip through the grill grate if you do this. But I just can't be bothered. I just lay them across the grate and be careful not to let them slip through.
